When Time, Water, and Mopping Meet Texture

The tile used on this floor is identical to the tile used on the wall. Same material. Same grout. Same environment. The only difference is contact. The wall is not mopped.  The floor is.  The result tells the story.

Scraping grout reveals what mopping leaves behind. Using a toothbrush or straw, add a small amount of water and observe the residue.
